I just received word from JacktheRipper that he was able to score me one of the Majestic Studios SDCC exc., Trilogy of Terror, Zuni Fetish Warrior dolls!
I am really excited about this. I had my doubts it would happen. I had faith in Jack, but with the whole raffle chaos, I figured that pretty much slammed my chances.
Then Jack scared me. The e-mail he sent just said Zuni with a sad face in the subject!!!! I thought it was going to be a "sorry, couldn't get you one" e-mail, but I was duped!!! *shakes fist* CURSES!!!
Was very cool of Jack to help me out, and I really appreciate it so much!
THANKS JACK!!!
BTW: Did you have to do the raffle deal to get it?

Just comes in a pretty regular box from what I have seen. There is mention on the website that the regular release comes in it's own wooden box, but no pics have been shown, so I don't know if that is really happening or not. That would rule though. The SDCC exc. is limited to 500 pieces, and the difference is it has glow in the dark eyes and teeth, and a different skirt design.
Here is an auction that has some pretty good shots of the con. exc. in the box....

Glad I was able to help. The raffle didn't play a role at least for Majestic they were way out in no man's land. The other exclusive were a different story. Majestic had some cool stuff on display. Dark Shadow figs as well as Vincent as Phibes. Zuni is larger than I had anticipated. This will definitely be the center of my collection for a while.
TCM, again I'm happy I was able to help and see your excitement in getting the figure has made the long trek to the car (Majestic was literally on another continent and also I didn't want to walk around with it and get it all banged up) worth it.

Well, glad to hear it was fairly easy to get, sorry to hear you had to make an extra trip to the car. Hopefully I will be able to return the favor and help you out with something in the future.
I saw pics of the Dark Shadows figures, and am really looking forward to those. The Barnabas Collins looks great! I am also looking forward to their Munsters, and can't wait to see a pic of Phibes.

Shadow & Phibes look great. The Munsters looked okay. The likenesses were off. Grampa was the best IMO.
Don't sweat it Jason. You were willing enough to send out the money to a stranger. That sits well with me. And, don't thank me so soon. I still have to get this to you in one piece.
PS. A wooden box would have been really sweet. But, the glow-in-the-dark makes this thing double creepy.
TCM-I'll contact you later. I'm going to get some ZZZZ now.

Yeah, I agree the Munsters are off a bit, but I like the Grandpa and Eddie.
I am sure the Zuni will arrive just fine. As far as me sending the cash to a complete stranger, well, sometimes you have to take chances, and this was an important piece to me. Also, I know you have been a member of the white board for some time, and you always seemed like good people, so I had a positive feeling about you.
